Heya! today, we had our first official softball training. it was raining heavily.. so we were playing whacko! at first, just to get to know one another better... then, later, the coach talked to us.. telling us we had to get this stupid soccer shoes or something.. I was like.. 'i don't feel it is needed, eh, cynthia'.. haha.. both of us were groaning at the fact that we had to learn everything from the scratch again, together with the others.. you know, their pitching very similar to mcpherson's..powerful one. but very tiring day lah. by the time we walked out of RI, it was 6.10. We wanted to take a bus to the MRT station.. so we walked, towards the left sie once we left the RI gate.. later, after walking 200 metres or so, we found out that we were walking in the wrong direction! so we had to walk back, and another long walk to the mrt station.. I came home only at 7.30.. came home and slept for 1hr. then wake up and do homework..aiyah...

Saturday summers when I was a kid
We'd run to the school yard and here's what we did:
We'd pick out the captains; choose up the teams
It was always a measure of my self-esteem
âCause the fastest, the strongest played shortstop and first
The last ones they picked were the worst...
I never needed to ask; it was sealed
I just took up my place in right field

You can be awkward and you can be slow

Just watching the dandelions grow

Playing right field can be lonely and dull
Little leagues never have lefties that pull
